Clear & Simple Stamps: Guest Designer!

Hey y'all!  Today, I'm so excited to share that I will be playing along with the Clear & Simple Stamps Design Team this month!  When Nicki asked me to guest design, I was THRILLED because 1) CSS has amazing products (especially the dies) and 2) some of my favorite people are on their DT (shout out to Elena and Laurie)!  Thanks Nicki!

Today, I'm joining the the team in highlighting some of the fantastic new offerings: Birch Trees stamp, Reverse Birch Trees stamp, Alpha Clear stamp set, Symbols Dies, Imprints 5 impression plate, and the new Imprints 6 impression plate!  For my project, I chose to work with the Birch Trees stamp.  This large stamp covers a lot of area and is perfect as a subtle background (love the little hidden heart).  I stamped the background and die cut a little bird over the trees.  The little bird is backed with a piece of cardstock blended in different inks to give him a bit of color:)  The tree background would work with so many designs!

Stamps: Birch Trees, Love Cupid

My next card was so much fun to do!  I used the CSS Symbols dies to create a pattern.  Can you guess the symbols?  The "<" and ">", of course!  The symbols are just the right shape to build a diamond design.  {If you've ever visited here before, you know I had to try this;)}  I stamped a simple and classic sentiment and added a strip of gold card stock to pull it all together.  Colorful paper + die cuts = awesome!

Stamps: Favor Flags
Dies: Symbols

Thanks for checking out my projects today!  I hope to see you later this month when I'll be sharing more CSS projects.  For today, check out these links for more CSS inspiration!
Mahalo and Aloha,

Love your clever use of the die cuts on the second card especially, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you can pull something like that off so effortlessly!!
