Ellen Hutson the CLASSroom Guest Post & Giveaway

Hey, hey, hey!  Just a quick post to mention that I'm guesting over on Ellen Hutson's blog, the CLASSroom, today!  I hope you head on over and check out a little tutorial on how to create a scored sunburst!   Here's a sneak peek of one of the projects:)

  12. What a great design- another way to use that score board- to bring joy into the life of the receiver of such beautiful cards. dont forge to pick up a bone folder.

  19. Thanks for the fab scoring tutorial! I've been looking for a sunburst embossing folder, which would have only been useful in limited ways, but with your technique, I can add diagonal scored lines anywhere! I love the yellow clouds, and the card is beautiful!

  53. I just love both of your projects. I love the sun rays you added in for texture but I also love all the color. Who doesn't love the newer Tim Holtz distress ink colors? They are amazing. Which is probably why I like the tag so much. I've been wanting to get my hands on some of the hero arts neon inks for the longest time. After seeing this cool tag I may just have to do that. Thanks for the great tutorial. Can't wait to give it a try myself.

  55. Gorgeous card and tag, JJ. Thanks for the tutorial. When I've scored a design like that I've certainly done it the difficult way and it didn't even turn out. LOL. Love the pin and rotating the cardstock. I will remember your tip about when the card needs something it could be the lack of texture. Thanks, JJ.
